Adam Liu is a director and filmmaker born in Beijing in the 1990s.

He studied Directing at Communication University of China and Beijing Film Academy.

Drawn to people in motion.

Bodies, faces, gestures, speed, tension, rhythm.

The focus is often on the moment when someone stops performing for the camera and something real appears.

Over the years, work has been directed for brands including Apple, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Hennessy, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Huawei, OPPO, Coca-Cola, Coach, Tiger, Uber, IKEA, Procter & Gamble, Pepsi, and others.

Projects have taken place across China and beyond.

The work has featured actors including Gong Li, Nicholas Tse, Donnie Yen, Louis Koo, Nick Cheung, Zhang Songwen, Eason Chan, Shen Teng, Crystal Liu, and Jackson Yee, among others.

Based in China and New York.
